Review of the Argyll and Bute Homeless Strategy

Argyll and Bute Council appointed Anna Evans Housing Consultancy to review its homeless strategy.  Research involved data analysis on homelessness trends and projections of future demand, and stakeholder consultation across Council staff, local housing associations and housing support providers. The research phase culminated with a stakeholder workshop where 50 partners discussed priorities for the next five years and how these priorities could be achieved. The work concluded with the development of a realistic action and resource plan to drive forward change.

Moira MacVicar, Development Manager Argyll and Bute Council said

Argyll and Bute is a very diverse area with particular geographical challenges. You have been able to provide us, in a relatively short period of time, with a succinct strategy which provides an extremely useful analysis of our current position and sets out some very clear challenges for us to work on over the next five years.
